Slow Lane - Byegone Era
Bygone Era is an amber lager that balances malt sweetness with smooth beachwood smoke flavours and aromas. Rauchbiers give us a taste of what beer would have been like several centuries ago. It was common back then to dry malt over an open flame, infusing the beer with smoke in the process. Two breweries in Bamberg, Germany (Schlenkerla and Spezial) continue this tradition to this day.
