Schlenkerla - Urbock
Schlenkerla's Urbock is the complex sibling of their classic Märzen smokebeer. Just like the classic, the barley for the Urbock is smoked over beechwood logs at the Schlenkerla-maltings. Slightly stronger and more full-bodied than the Marzen, the Schlenkerla Urbock is rich, bready and smoky. Notes of smoked sausage, brown bread, and tobacco mingle with muscovado sugar notes and solid bitterness.
