Mays Canyon is situated on the western edge of the Russian River Appellation, surrounded by redwood trees that provide a protective barrier, warming the vineyard’s climate. The Hugo gravelly loam soils enhance this effect, capturing and retaining daytime heat, which contributes to the wine’s complexity.
