La Purisima - Estío Tinto

A blend of predominantly Monastrell with some Syrah. The original clones of Monastrell were grown on their own roots from old bush vines. This is a simple wine, but really good. Typical varietal characteristics of warm bitumen, dried fig, honey and black fruit from the Monastrell are given a juicy-jubey touch up from the Syrah. Very silky to the tongue with decent length and a nice tannin on the finish.
