Jever - Pilsner
A true Northern German Pilsner - hoppier, grassier and crisper than the Southern German, and Czech interpretations of the style. Dominated by resinous hops, in terms of aroma, flavour and bitterness, Jever is the perfect thirst quencher. The beer pours a pale straw colour, with its moderate-to-high carbonation producing tightly-packed bubbles and a long-lasting, foamy-white head. As you might expect, fresh, grassy and resinous noble hops are significant contributors to both aroma and flavour; although grainy malts definitely play an invaluable supporting role in the beer’s clean, crisp, medium-bodied character.
