Vin jaune (French for "yellow wine") is a unique, dry white wine from the Jura region of eastern France, famously made from Savagnin grapes. Aged under a veil of yeast (the voile) for over six years without topping up the barrels, it develops intense nutty, spicy, and oxidative flavors akin to dry Fino Sherry, though it is not.
This is one of our favourites in the Vin Jaune category.
