Frederic Berne - Chiroubles Les Terrasses

This is a single-plot cuvée from “Terrasses” on the Chiroubles cru, which are among the highest plots of Beaujolais. The vines are planted on a hillside of Pink Granite. The grapes reach good maturity but always retain a clear acidity thanks to the altitude. The wines are there rich and full with tension, all carried by an aromatic fruit red and spices.
