Sang de Roche is a single-plot cuvée of pure Chenin built on the most typical terroir of Vouvray - flint clay. The plot is about 40 years old and is located on the first-most eastern slope of Vernousur-Brenne.
If you like your Chenin dry and taut this is the bottle for you! The aroma explodes with white fruit, apple, pear and a touch of pear over a mineral/stony base. It is dry, but with pretty fruit qualities that add charm. Lots of citrus on the finish with beautiful length - a truly exceptional expression of Vouvray.
